Day 3

Describe your dream job.

I've been thinking about this....
Ideally it would be something that I could do while the boys are at school.  I love teaching, but I really don't want my own classroom again with all those responsibilities....lesson planning, grading, contacting parents, meetings....
I'd love to do something history & education related....a museum education department?  That would be cool, but that would be a year round job & I'd love to have the summers off with the boys.
Helping teachers make their lessons better & their job easier....many of those type of position you would need a master's degree or districts got rid of those a few years ago when the state cut budgets.
Start my own business....don't have a clue what I would do????  Most take a lot of uang/dinero/$$$$...
Hey, I think I'm really sitting here trying to figure out what I am going to do over the next few years to get back into the job/earning market....
I'd love to write something, but I really am not a very good wordsmith....I have friends that could write circles around me.  As you can tell by this blog, I haven't yet found my voice...
Maybe I could somehow make money with writing or a blog...???? How do so many do it?? Who do they know?

I'm dreaming so....writing a blog that helps history teachers in their classroom & can make me money???  a book deal out of it???  Then maybe going into the classroom to help teachers & having districts hire me....lol!  But I'm not creative enough to come up with my own ideas....the last year that I had fun teaching, I took ideas from all over the place to have a fun classroom.....it was the best teaching year ever....2005-2006

I really loved teaching.....I would go back in a heartbeat if I could have an assistant that could do all the grading & paperwork needed.... ;)   hmmm...student teacher????  lol!

Wait...We watch Jeopardy all the time & I remember there was someone who had a profession that I thought sounded interesting...so much that I wrote it down....Study Abroad Adviser.  Hmmm...that really sounds interesting.  Might have to take a look into something like that. ;)
